Jim found his love for accounting when he was a junior in high school starting out in an entry-level accounting class. Once in college, he discovered public accounting was the way for him and began working for a CPA part-time. After graduating, he went on to work for Arthur Anderson in Houston, the largest CPA firm in the country at that time. 3 years later, he moved back to Kalamazoo and worked for local CPA firms for the next 7 years before starting Brink, Kenyon and Key (to become Brink, Key & Chludzinski a few years later).

Jim would note out of all his accomplishments, his proudest has been watching his kids grow up. He's happily married and enjoys playing poker, golfing, fishing and pickleball.
